Founded by
pioneer Thomas Hardy in 1876, Hardys Tintara is nestled in the
heart of McLaren Vale, South Australia. Tintara skilfully
embraces the best of new-age winemaking while still retaining
and using much of the original equipment and winemaking methods
of the past. The Hardys Tintara range is made from premium fruit
sourced from vineyards in the best wine regions of South
Australia.
These wines have been hand crafted, enhancing their fine
quality, intensity and true varietal expression. They owe much
to the past, but their appeal belongs exclusively to today.
A Canadian
creation, the Caesar or Bloody Caesar was invented to celebrate
the opening of Marco's Italian restaurant at the Calgary Inn in
1969. Resident mixologist Walter Chell was commissioned to
develop this new cocktail. Inspired by the flavors' of Spaghetti
Vongole (spaghetti with clams), Chell combined sweet (tomato
juice), salty (clam nectar), sour (lime), spicy (Worcestershire
sauce) and bitter (celery salt) in his new concoction.

The EFFEN Vodka taste profile was
developed with support from leading bartenders who pour spirits
every night. Bartenders, the true drink experts, served on our
panel to improve upon a centuries-old Dutch recipe that is
perfect on the palate.
The water used in EFFEN Vodka goes well beyond the standard
filtering process. Pure spring water is forced through
specifically constructed filters under extremely high pressure.

Oomoo, meaning
"good", was among the first of Thomas Hardys labels and
originally launched in the mid 1880's. The wine has now been revived
to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Hardys Wines. Following
the extraordinary success of the Oomoo Shiraz the Oomoo
Grenache/Shiraz/Mouvedre is now available in BC. This wine has
an abundance of ripe juicy flavors and soft tannin, a great
example of the Oomoo style.
